Social Media Adverts

Movem approached us to produce a series of advertisements that could be used on social media. Publicising the brand and integrating the message of helping students was a key aspect of the project. It was important for the videos to be entertaining and shareable. Since Movem’s built to solve the problem of poor quality housing, something that really resonated with us was the idea of comparing a good and bad student property, in the most extreme cases.

The concept and idea generation phase was very enjoyable. Peter, the MD of Movem was a joy to work with. We spent many hours discussing the most effective examples to use, and decided they should be directly relatable to a students real life experiences. We believed this would maximise student engagement on social media, and after releasing the project on Facebook, the analytics showed us we were right.

The story and delivery was at the heart of this project. We made sure it was short, and engaging for viewers. Once we had our stories, we moved onto the production.

The production was largely filmed, but included a vast amount of visual effects work in post-production. This was because our locations needed to be emphasised for it be clear that the student property is either a good or bad property. We added a lot of mould, and replaced bad windows, a breakdown of this is below, put your cursor over the image to see the difference.

This project had a creative concept, with commercial elements, and was well received on Movem’s Facebook page
