PTS
PTS required a short video to explain who they are and how their services help travel companies. We wanted the style of the video to have a mix between a traditional paper cutout stop animation, and a computer generated 2.5D animation – this included integrating the use of 3D elements and shadowing. We always try to bring extra elements into our work, for example in this animation, we added a 3D perspective with the coins falling into the safe. This was built in a 3D software called Cinema 4D, this allowed the coins to react with each other in 3D space. The animation was then converted into a 2D animation using track mattes to lose any shading.

When we started working on the script with the client, we had a few creative concepts. They liked the look of the shadows in this concept, so we ended up expanding on that. The sound FX brings a friendly element to the animation and reinforces the content in the video. Thank you to Danielle Perry from Absolute Radio for producing our voiceover too.
